Diabetes and Weight Loss

47 year oldmale 123kg (271LB) came into the clinic for weight –loss. He was medicated for diabetes, hypertension and hypercholesterolemia.  The patient also reported abdominal pain in the upper right area which occurs at least once a week. His initial blood work showed high fasting glucose, and elevated liver enzymes.
